Y12 - Aviation WEX at Bristol Airport

The Bristol Airport Talent & Acquisition Team is pleased to announce that applications for our 2025 Work Experience Programme are now open!

 

We will be offering work experience placements across the following five weeks in the 2024/25 academic year: 

Week 1	24 - 28 February 2025
Week 2	6 - 9 May 2025
Week 3	16 - 20 June 2025
Week 4	23 - 27 June 2025
Week 5	7 - 11 July 2025

Our work experience programme is designed for students who are interested in pursuing a future career in the aviation industry. Students will be exposed to several different teams across the Bristol Airport site, including Engineering, Motor Transportation, Ground Transportation, Terminal and Airside Operations and many more. 

 

Please note that Bristol Airport does not partner with any airlines to provide cabin crew, piloting, or airside shadowing opportunities. This work experience placement is best suited to students interested in careers in STEM or within operational teams in an airport environment (i.e. airside operations, flight coordinating, ground handling, refuelling, firefighting or roles with our 50+ business partners on site). We ask that all our school contacts and careers staff manage students' expectations when encouraging them to apply for this placement.

How to apply: 

To be considered for the 2025 programme, students need to visit the Bristol Airport Early Careers Website and complete the 2025 Work Experience Programme Application Form. All applicants must complete all questions, including short responses (250 words max.) to two (2) application questions.

Applications will close on Friday, 29 November 2024 at 11:59pm.
