Yr12 (or equivalent) WEX
Students can apply using the Yr12 WEX Application form
There are 3 different Yr12 STEM WEX programmes to choose from which all run on different weeks:
- Biological Sciences - Nematode (Water Insect) Research - (23rd - 27th June 2025 - 20 places)
- Geographical Sciences - Fieldwork and laboratory WEX - (30th June - 4th July 2025 - 12 places)
- Life (Human) Sciences - (16th -20th June 2025 - 20 places)
Priority will be given to students who:
- are from an ethnic group that is under-represented at the University of Bristol: Asian Pakistani, Asian Bangladeshi, Black Caribbean, Black African, mixed backgrounds featuring one or more of these groups
- are first in their family to go to university
- live in an IMD (Indices of Multiple Deprivation) quintile 1 area as defined by their home postcode
- are or have been eligible for free school meals
- attend a school or college listed by the University as an 'Aspiring State School/College'
- have spent three or more months in Local
- have a disability
