Y12-13 - Creative Careers Event 'VIABLE'

VIABLE - a new, free creative careers festival for young people aged 14-25 – the creatives of the future.
Thursday 24th October 2024
3-7pm
The Courts & The Station (entrance via Bridewell Street, BS1 2QD)
 
This unique event is an opportunity for young people to find out about careers in the creative industries – the UK's fastest growing employment sector.
Maybe you work with young people who show great potential in creative subjects, interest in entrepreneurship, who may never have considered a creative career or face barriers to opportunities … VIABLE will introduce them to roles, training, courses and opportunities for a creative future.
Included in the programme:
·         Fun, interactive workshops: acting, voiceover, web design and networking and much more
·         Talks from young creatives about how they got their creative role
·         Inspiring speakers who have overcome obstacles, forged their own path and achieved their dreams of becoming influential leaders in the creative sector
·         Exhibitions and performances from regional creative organisations
·         Information, advice and guidance on courses, apprenticeships and training from regional schools, colleges, universities and training providers.
