Y12 - Shape My City - 24/25

Shape My City is a programme of monthly evening workshops for teenagers aged 15-18 who are interested in the Built Environment. Each workshop is run by a different company, and gives the students experience of and insight into a different discipline. The programme is free to attend, and students receive food and a £5 travel bursary for each session. Students on the programme not only build a greater awareness of different disciplines across the Built Environment, but also develop design and presentation skills, and greatly strengthen their CVs and portfolios for further study and career opportunities. Students also make important connections with industry professionals. 

The sessions are run by award-winning and international companies working in the Bristol / Bath area. The 2023-24 programme includes:

Urban Design with LDA Design
Active Travel with Campbell Reith

Landscape Architecture with Churchman Thornhill Finch
Structural Engineering with Ramboll

Sustainable Masterplanning with Stantec
