Who we are and what we do National Grid is an energy company, operating in the UK and US. In the UK, we own the high-voltage transmission network across England and Wales and we also manage the electricity distribution network for the Midlands, South West and Wales, delivering electricity to millions and homes and businesses. Sounds like a big job – it is! WE have a vision for energy to be clean, fair and affordable for all and we need apprentices to help us do this. Our opportunities If you have students in years 11, 12 and 13 who are interested in a career in energy, then we may have the perfect role for them. We have both advanced and higher apprenticeships in the field of engineering and business roles too. We offer a competitive starting salary of £16,000 (more in some locations) plus great benefits and industry leading training, we really are a great employer for your students to consider. Our roles are based around the South West, which we think may be perfect for your students. You can find out about our roles and locations by clicking the links* below. Advanced and Higher Apprenticeship roles across the UK Advanced Apprenticeship roles across the South West We have so many opportunities for your students who are interested in apprenticeships.
